THE DAY BATSHA
RE-RELEASED
BATSHA,
There are number of
crazy fans for the movie due to one reason Rajinikanth.
There may be fans for actors, but the name SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH has many
worshippers. Vinu is one such crazy fan for the superstar.
It is officially announced that the
film Batsha is going to be rereleased with more clarity and improved visuals
and sounds. Vinu said me that, he gonna book tickets for us for the date
announced at nearby theatre and we planned to bunk classes let knowing nobody.
Finally 3rd march is declared as our bunk day. Vinu booked tickets
for show at 10. We planned to roam around mall and returned to hostel after the
movie.
It is 6:07 am, when vinu woke me up on
3rd march. He looked so confused and worried. I could read so many
emotions in his face. I asked what happened? The reply collapsed all our plan.
The tickets booked for the Batsha was at 10 pm. A small carelessness made our day a question mark. Vinu is in
the state of feeling that he is going to miss his favourite movie but I have
started to think what next. Suddenly my phone beeps a message that Anand is
sick and will be absent for the class.
The next plan started, and it had 3
members. We started from hostel at 9 am and caught Gandhipuram bus at 9:32 am
and reached Gandhi park at 10:15 am. Our phone battery and energy levels are
full, until we called Anand. He answered that, he is unavailable at his flat
being in his uncle’s room. Our mind got struck, frustrated, trapped. Overcoming
the disappointments, the other plan came to mind is to go plan less. We roamed cashless
by walking draining our energy, searching what next? It is 11:13 am when we
reached Brookfields. Ending at ticket counter we asked for 10rs tickets for
movie at the mall. Got replied that 10rs tickets will be available only at
weekend that too up to 10am. My phone ringed, it was my sister calling. I know
her first question “Where are you without attending the class?” For god sake
never say your sister your irresponsibility, it will lead to a disaster.
Therefore I didn’t pick her call till one time.
Planlessness, the only way to get lost
into a city. We got lost without plan, planning so many failure ideas. My phone
charge was draining by the ringtone. Finally, got down at town hall station, we
decided to rest at a movie called “YEMAN”, escaping from the sun. 3 hours
flied, we got out from theatre. I answered my sister to say what happened till
last hours. The conversation ended up in anger and frustration. One final
decision poped up, is to boozed anyway.
This time there were two clever plans
alternating each other. We bought one ½ Bacardi and one pocket of Gudan garam
cigarettes. If Anand gives a positive response the plan A is to go, stay at his
flat, enjoy the movie after boozing. The plan B is to quit movie and to return
hostel and booze out our sadness, if Anand shows a red signal. This time I took
the call of my sister and ended up my conversation, explaining what happened
and what is going to. Vinu got the call from Anand at 5:42pm and said that he
is coming to pick us to his flat, we gasped at relaxation. He came, we rode to
Anand’s flat by 6:22pm.
Being three at his room, we explained
our plan and convinced him to booze with us and the arrangements got started at
7:30pm. Leaving me in his flat, Anand and vinu gone to purchase axillaries for
boozing. At 8:04pm, they came in with another ½ Bacardi and side dishes such as
chips, grapes and fruits, etc., We started boozing at 8:15pm, and the bottle
was empted at 9:32pm. We found it was late to reach KG cinemas to watch the
awaited movie. We rode all the way to KG by two wheeler and got a ticket for
Anand at time 9:46pm. We found time to eat at nearby hotel Annapoorna, we urged
the waiter to serve fast. Finishing the payments at 10:05pm, we ran to our
seats at theatre. Fortunately we seated one beside the another.
The sound inside the box from the
viewers was more than the speakers at the scene of introduction of superstar. Vinu got excited and roared
with his full throttle with a word THALAIVA.
The sound can make goose bumps even to a coma patient. At a funny part, we
found OLA autos drive by Thalaivar. Got out at 1:30am, reached the flat at 2am.
We opened the second half and boozed till 3am. Making fun of each other,
laughing at the above plans. We gone dreaming at 3:30am.
It was 9:15am, when I woke up. I saw
them making fun of me with the last night happenings. Again my phone rang,
sister again. She asked me to attend the classes at least today. We reached
hostel without warden’s knowledge at 11:15am, and got ready for classes
afternoon. Finally, the story ends at classroom with puzzle question session
and puzzled eyes on us.
